Corgi Fest is an annual celebration that brings together dog lovers, families, local businesses, artists, nonprofit organizations, and the Erie community for a day of corgi races, contests, vendors, and unforgettable experiences.
We're seeking media partners, nonprofit partners, and business sponsors to help amplify the Corgi Fest story through community coverage, promotional support, and financial partnership opportunities. Corgi Fest is more than a dog event. It has become a beloved Erie tradition celebrating community, creativity, and the incredible bond between people and their pets.
In 2026, we will celebrate our seventh Corgi Fest. Our largest festival brought more than 1,000 attendees from across the region together for a day filled with corgi races, costumes, contests, vendors, and the kind of joy and whimsy that makes this event truly unique. Our record attendance included 330 corgis, creating one of the largest corgi gatherings in the area.
Corgi Fest is also an event with a purpose. Through our activities and partnerships, we support corgi rescues and veterinary care nonprofits, helping provide resources for animals in need while celebrating the pets who bring so much happiness into our lives.
Beyond the festival itself, Corgi Fest creates a positive economic impact for Erie. Many attendees travel from outside the area, stay for the weekend, book local hotels, visit restaurants, and support local businesses while they are here. The festival brings visitors into the region and highlights Erie as a destination for unique community experiences.
Corgi Fest also provides meaningful opportunities for more than 25 vendors, including local and regional food trucks, small businesses, artists, makers, and independent creators. The festival gives these entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their work, connect with new customers, and generate income while being part of a larger community celebration.
Our goal is to keep Corgi Fest in Erie for years to come. With the continued support of local businesses, organizations, and community partners, we hope to grow this event while preserving the hometown spirit that makes it special.

The Rainbow Bridge Memorial gives attendees a meaningful space to honor and remember beloved pets who have passed away. Sponsors help us create a beautiful and heartfelt tribute area celebrating the special bond between people and their animals.
